I made my LAST payment on the 'ole Mustang - for the first time in my life, I own my own car :)

Game Day!

42 - 0  here at the Swamp, 3rd qtr! It's finally Gator game day - waa-hoooo!  The hype has started, fans everywhere decked out in their orange and blue, but mostly white today requested by Coach Meyer for "White Out Cancer Day"....it's still the big Orange and Blue in Gainesville!

And check out our newest little mini cheerleader.....I believe that's Elizabeth!  Oh My!

Tropical Storm Fay - Go Away!

Fay Fay go away, you've been around for many a DAY!

I weathered the storm very well, no flooding in my area - just a few broken limbs out of the pecan tree in my backyard, and lots of limbs and moss out of the Oak tree in the front yard.
My Elephant Ears are blown down (good thing you got a pix of those before leaving, Brett & Lauren!) 
And, the banana tree leaves are pretty torn up but still standing!  Of course, as you can see, Maple hunkered down on the couch for most of the ride!

Great Lake Day!

We always have such fun at our lake place!  Yesterday was especially fun having BOTH of my kids there with their friends. Rob brought his dog, Toast!  He's so good with Elizabeth, how do dogs know to be gentle with babies??

Brett home for a visit

O my goodness, it's so good to see my boy!  It's been since last Christmas he was home to visit and this time he brought his friend, Lauren!  So good to have them here - let's hope this hurricane brewing in the Gulf doesn't blow them out of here before due time!  We spent the day in St. Augustine yesterday and now we've off to the lake for the day.  Yep, I'll have new pics to post tonight......

92 degrees but who cares?

Like I said, I smell football....GATOR football, that is!  It was 92 at 6PM today - who cares...it's worth some sweat just to get some action shots of our players!
